I have her tore apart and see that the shifter and linkage all work perfect. So I am thinking that the issue is inside the gear box or transmission. Here was the scenario, I was driving on normal terrain (road) about 40 mph. All of the sudden, I heard a loud noise and all the sudden I was not in gear. The shifter and indicator were still on "H" 2 wd. So I coasted to the nearest driveway and had to tow it with my trailer. Again, I tried to shift into all gears including reverse, and 4wd. The shifter and the indicator lights would change and the linkage would move properly but the side by side would not engage gears what so ever. What next?
