2011 Kubota BX??

Is there going to be a 25 hp BX w/ a Backhoe in the near future? Maybe a BX26? Wondering if I should hold out if one is due out next year or if there is going to be any significant changes in this line.

Haven't seen or heard anything..Although a BX26 like the BX2660 would be a nice machine.

Unless the tractor was going to be a little bigger.. The bx24/25 has all the power it needs. Maybe just a little more speed for the backhoe. Well.. maybe my BX24 could use a turbo.

What the BX series needs most is for Kubota to spend $5 more on the hydraulic pumps so that many more jobs can be done at half throttle, or less. I really like that about my B2620, and the little Massey proves it can be done on that platform. When I had my BX, having to have the RPM so high all the time made me want to rush, and I didn't find it relaxing to operate. Now, I understand that for pto operations you need that, but not to turn the compost pile. The tractors have plenty of power for their size now. I would also vote for a "landscaping" version that had fine control of the 3 pt. What a great tool that would be for working in tight places!

I agree with ChuckinNH and better pump. I hate having to listen to my BX scream.

I never could really understand the problem with the pump on the BX. Maybe its because I haven't run other tractors very much. It seems like anything near 2000 rpms makes the hydraulics work O.K. If I'm running the end loader, I run about 2400-2800 rpms, anything faster makes me a little jerky on the controls.

Have you checked out the Bobcat CT122. I just priced one with a backhoe. $12,900 for the tractor/loader (including rear remotes) and $5,700 for the backhoe. My BX has been great, but I need a small machine with more power.

You can buy a B-series Kubota for that.

Now is a good time to buy a bx25 this is there 35 anniversary they ofer O % financing but you will pay 2% more for the tractor, best to pay cash and save the 2% if you can. I have a bx 25 and it does all that i want it to do. Price $ 16,800 to $17,000 comes with backhoe & loader turff tires can be changed out at no extra cost. Comes with 2 year & 3 year power train.
