2008 BX24 Tranny leak

I own a 2008 BX24, bought it brand new, and have 38 hours on it. The rear transmission had developed an oil leak at around 30 hours. The Dealer covered it under warranty. He said it was the Breather valve that had to be replaced. Also mentioned that this was the first of a number of BX's that were just starting to have this trouble. I used the machine for another 2 hours after the repair and developed another leak. This seems to be coming from the bottom 2 bolts on the rear transaxle assembly. The dealer will cover this too under warranty, but I'm wondering what I may be facing in the future. Anyone else out there having similar troubles?

I haven't seen anything like that on mine yet (2660), but at 17 hours, I'll definitely start keeping an eye out for it!

i havent had any problems with leaks yet on mine. knock on wood

I had a test port leaking with in the first few hours on my 2350. It was located on the top left side. Dealer fixed it haven't had a problem since that was a 160 hours ago.

A few months ago, I finally had my oil leak solved. After the dealer looking at it for a third time, the factory authorized replacing the entire transmission bell housing assembly. Oil leak gone! The dealer summizes although visibly undetectable, there must have been a defect in the casting.

similar problem on mine w/ less than 10 hours.

dealer fixed under warranty. i can't remember exactly what it was they replaced - something small like upper hose or fitting? fluid leaking covered most of rear of transfer case/resevoir.

anyway, no problems with leaks since then. now approaching 200 hours.
