Just like the title says. Ran fine on Monday night. Came out Tuesday morning and it will turn over but wont start. Went ahead and changed both fuel filters and bleed it but still nothing. Battery is fairly new so Im thinkin she has enough cranking power. Sounds strong when it turns over. Shes only got 700 hours on her. She's just a baby!! If I gotta take her in to a shop Im guessing I gotta call a wrecker to take her since she wont start? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!

Might take the air filter apart and see if a critter built a nest overnight. Diesels need good fuel, air, and enough RPM's to fire them up cold. Spinning it too slow and she may not fire. Since it was running the day before, it probably was not air in the fuel line when you tried to start it the next morning. But, any little air in the lines after you changed the fuel filters could be a problem. Bleeding sometimes does not get it all out. Good luck, and let us know what you find... and have a safe New Years..!!!!

Sound like you may not have power to the fuel shut off solenoid on the FIP. Check for a blown fuse or loose wire before calling the wrecker.

Haven,t gone back out to my place yet to work on her so no updates yet. OldGin.....the fuse you,re talking about....is it located in the little fuse box below the steering wheel or in another place. Thanks.

Anyone with a 3525..if you could please look at your fuse panel and tell me what size and what kind of fuses are in there would be a great help! A pic would be great! I'd like to have the fuse with me when I go out there instead of having find out what they are and then come back. Thanks for the help.

Hey Shemp,

I had that same problem with my 3215. It turned out to me a loose wire on the starter solenoid. The wire sends power over to the fuel cutoff solenoid in the injection pump. The wire got knocked loose when cleaning around the starter area. I don't know if you have the same setup, but it is worth a look. I was told this might be the solution by one of the guys on here ( Navasot) and sure enough it was that simple. You can find the thread in here under "no fuel". Hope this helps! Good luck!

The fuse for the FIP should be a 5amp plug in automotive fuse. Should be a sprare in the fuse box cover. Get you a test light to check for power at the Fuel Injector Pump solenoid. Its located on top of the pump.

Shemp, Did you ever figure out the problem with your 3525 ? I'm curious to find out what the resolution was. Thanks.
