Hello all,
I have a wonderful 2006 John Deere X520 Kawasaki V twin with 450 hours on it. I have maintained it perfectly, but it has developed a strange issue. It starts and runs fine until I have mowed for about 10 minutes. Then the engine looses power, the exhaust smells strongly of unburnt fuel, and runs rough like it is misfiring. Spark is present at both plug wires, but amazingly when I remove the left plug wire, the engine smooths out. Removing only the right plug wire is much more noticeable and will most likely stall. New plugs/filters etc and no changes. I'm lost at what the problem could be. Any help?
