Kubota M6040Cab
I am contemplating trading towards a Kubota TLB, but I have no idea what the value of my tractor is. It's in great shape, 2006, 200 or so hours, tires are like new as is the rest of the tractor. Ag tires by the way, the bucket has the auto level feature, stereo, tool box, This is the Fredericksburg VA area. Any guidance is appreciated.

Thanks,

Bryan

Thanks, it would seem 30k might be fair? Any idea what trade should be? I was baling hay, mostly for fun and for my horses, but the kids didn't find it nearly as entertaining as I did. I just sold my hay equipment and was trying to decide on downgrading, but can't make up my mind.

thanks,

Bryan

What are you interested in downgrading to? I am interested in upgrading one of my tractors. :)

Probably something in the L range. I would like a newer L TLB, but I am spoiled by the cab I have. What are you looking at up grading?

I have got a B7800, no cab, that is serving mowing duties only. I have always been fond of the M's since they came out. I'd like to own one one day. I could probably cut (no pun intended) my mowing duties in half, while enjoying a bug free, cooler, more musically confined environment.....:)

The M series is nice no doubt. I just don't know if I can justify it at this point after selling my hay equipment. I have been spoiled by the FEL lift capacity, I won't get that in a smaller tractor. I will let you know for sure, if of course you are interested. I think new they are in the low 40s or something.

RipTide, off topic, as much as I would like to sell you the M, the only 'Real' way to cut down on mowing time is to get a zero turn mower. I generally cut about 4 acres, my mowing time was cut in half using a zero turn exmark with 72" deck. It used to take me about 6 or seven hours, now down to three or less. I was baling the other 3.

Trust me on the ZTR I know, they are for great for some mowing. I like to keep my pastures low.....it would be great for some areas of the property, but the tractor can cover everything. I got rid of all my pure lawn mowers..... only one left is a push mower.
