Comparison 2005 L3830 compared to a 2012 L3800

I own a 2005 L3830 with a FEL 4x4 love it! But found a 2012 L3800 with like 90hrs on it with a FEL also and 4x4 mine has 800 some hrs but was thinking about moving up in years but looking at this newer tractor nice but doesn't look as well built as mine both hydros but still the L3800 just doesn't seems as heavy built mine also has some other features this tractor doesn't I'm leaning on keeping mine I love it just was thinking newer year and less hours any input this tractor price is really good heck 90 hrs it's hardly broke in thanks.

Yours is a Grand L, while the 3800 is a basic/economy L model. Not in the same class of tractor.

Isn't your 3830 more of a grand L ? Do you have a flat operators platform adjustable 3pt arms etc? Maybe a couple other differences that would not be worth trading away to a lateral or slightly downgrade with no upgrade in capability.

It must be a good deal on the 3800....hard to turn away!

That would be a step down for sure;800 hours is nothing on your current tractor.I had a L3130 HST ,very nice tractor and I put 700 hours in three years on it.Only traded to get a cab(L4240 HSTC).I think you would miss the "extras" of a Grand L quickly.

Keep the one you have, its a Grand L and will last for many years if properly maintained.
800 hours is nothing on your current tractor.

Yes thank you I've only put like 100hrs since I owned it and been great I moved up from a 8n this was a good tractor also still own it just going to use it to mow with! Yea I'm really good with maintenance also I work my equipment but don't beat the snot out of them either and believe in respect I believe your right I'm gonna keep my tractor thanks.
