Brothers,

I had the dealer come out during the winter to get the snow blade working (a recurring problem, works fine all year until you get a snow day, go figure).

Anyways after they left I found a a round cynlinderical flasher module on the floor. I then noticed my flashers didn't work and the 12 volt accessory plug had no juice. I now need the plug for my tank sprayer.

I took photos of under the dash and found where the flasher module plugs in. So okay, I now know where this module plug goes. I notice a red/black pair plug dangling in the are near the module, is this an extra power cable with connector? Or should this go to the power outlet somehow?

Does the flasher module have side effects like knocking out the power outlet?

Thanks for any pointers.

Yes the red and black connector is 12 volt battery power. It is protected by a 40 amp fuse. So plan accordingly with your electrical load. There is one of the plugs in the engine bay also on the right hand side. It may be safer to just hook a harness to the battery. The flasher module should not knock anything out physicaly. It does add to the electrical load on that 40 amp fuse as does all the electrical add ons.

Thanks, I'll look for the engine bay plug for the spayer (I have been routing power to the sprayer through the door). I did get the flasher plugged in, that works. I recall trying to start the HPX with a Black and Decker Start It battery pak using the acdcesory plugin. I checked the fuse (10 amp) under the seat for the accessary plug and the fuse was blown. Yeah those plugin starters don't work right, IMHO if they blow the fuse. Always jump to the battery.

At least I know there is a power connector available under the dash for a radio or something.

Again thanks for taking the time to respond.
