ok sorry guys my mistake, I bought it, and now know that it indeed only has solid rear axle with coil springs, with independent upfront , and it also has a solid white boom. also its a 2003 not 04. I used it a little bit yesterday with the bucket made for it and found it a little small so am getting the bigger bucket put on instead. Great toy as my wife calls it, but man can it push snow. I would highly recommend anyone considering a skid steer to demo one of these first. Price paid with tax was $19000-us maybe a little steep but considering all work done id say not that bad, and besides Ill get most of that back as I bought it through the company that I own, for use in that company.

Thanks or the replies

I think you got a great deal.

When I was looking back in mid 2005, the prices were much higher.

I paid $27,000 for a nicely used 2003 'A' model with 200+ hours, a 6' mower, 7.5' snow plow, & 68" bucket. This included shipping. I did quite a bit of shopping, and this was by far the best deal I could find at the time.

Newer models with newer features are lowering the price of the original 'A' series.

I am glad I have it, and thankfull every day I can use it.

I must have gotten a really good deal. Bought an late B series, in 2007 with 300 hours, 4 n 1 bucket, tooth bucket, and farm grapple, high flow, A/C and rear PTO for $20,000

I recently thought about selling it. I now have 400 hours but really need a second skid steer vs the toolcat. Not sure what to ask right now with equipiment sales down but I was thinking it was at least worth what I paid for it?
