I noticed a couple of few weeks ago while running my rotary mower that the 3-point hitch was leaking down and somewhat surging up and down about 1/2 inch. I figured it was the lift cylinder leaking so I ordered OEM rebuild parts, basically just an oring and a Teflon backing seal. The cylinder walls were in good shape so no problems there.
The rebuild was pretty straightforward, the hardest part was getting the seat on and off. Well the rebuild did not correct the issue. The strange thing is I am not seeing any issues with the FEL which leads me to believe it is something directly related to the 3-point system.
With that in mind I changed out the hydraulic fluid and filter, still no help.
Maybe I pinched the oring during the rebuild but not sure. Although I could live with it the way it is I am just a little **** about things like this.
I am sure this has been covered somewhere on the forum but just difficult weeding through it all, hopefully someone has seen before.
Just trying to get a little input but snatching the lift cylinder back out.
