Buying Advice 2003 Simplicity Legacy with 60" deck

I have an opportunity to buy a 2003 Simplicity Legacy with a 60" mowing deck for $4,000 with about 550 hours on it. The guy sounds like he took good care of it. Oil change every 100 hours and removing and cleaning up the deck each winter. Does this sound like a good price? I have not bought a tractor before and now live in the country. 35 years ago I used a Ford 8N with my Dad - so it has been awhile since I used a tractor. I also need to get a blade for pushing snow. Is there any problems getting new attachments for a 2003 model? Thanks for your help.

Sounds a bit high to me.
