2003 3430 battery removal

What's the best way to remove the battery on a 3430, without taking the whole front grill off?

The grill is very simple to remove. Only two thumb screws hold it in place. Remove screws, tilt slightly forward and lift up.

Thanks, I didn't know it was that easy, I will have to look for the 2 screws. Where are the thumb screws?

Only two thumbscrews if there is no grill guard. Grill guard is not that hard, but it is pretty heavy.

The bolts on the grill guard of my 2009 BX25 are EXTREMELY tight. I could not get them off.

Pretty easy, removed the thumb screws and tilted forward, removed the battery, didn't have to move the grill guard.

Spray the bolts with PB Blaster or even WD40 and let them soak over night.

Put your wrench on the bolt and use a hammer to move your wrench; don稚 have to hit it hard - just a few firm taps just get it loosened
