2002 TC33 4x4 diesel w/1188 hours.

2002 TC33 diesel 4x4 w/ frontend loader for $2300. Has just under 1200 hours. Says he's original owner w/maint. records.

The price seems low to me. I'm going to go look at it. Any suggestions on what to look for?

Keegs, I hear alarm bells on this one. By Chance is it on Craigs- .the scam is the tractor will not be seen, be careful. They have pushed selling Nothing into a new level. Something for nothing , or a real bargain is like a Fairy tale.

DD..your post implies you assume I have a clue about the value of tractors.

well guys you never know, times are really bad regardless of what our present government seems to think. a farmer up the road from me is selling a 120 hp MF for an unbelievably low price trying to save his farm I feel like a s###bag but it's basically a $70,000 tractor for 27 grand. perhaps this gentleman is in the same circumstance however i would listen to the engine and check normal usage items and look for welded frames or cracking transmission housings was a common on a 33 i believe near the bell housing take care

Remember, if the guy is trying to save his farm, you may be a hero instead of a scumbag. You have to believe he's made the decision based on his calculations of what he needs to get out from under the tractor. If you want to shake his hand and make him a special deal on buy-back at a later date, that's up to you, but you have to consider what you are doing if you buy the tractor is to help him through a tough time.:thumbsup:

Most of the time the poster will say in the add about a circumstance like this so it doesn't seem like a scam. I have seen some great deals - even things like divorce sales that have to go. I wouldn't just say that it is a scam but it has the potential so just be careful.
