I have my Mahindra 4500 2wd front tires jacked up off the ground. I have just repaired my tractor from overheating power steering fluid, by replacing the seals in the front wheel cylinder. I was able to turn both wheels over the past three weeks while working on the over heating issue. Now the right wheel hub appear to be froze. The wheel will turn around and around, but it will not turn from left to right. It froze/locked in one spot. I have hit it with a 6 foot 4/4, no budge. put in some bearing grease. Still will not budge. I disconnected the front cylinder from both tires, I can turn my left wheel manually, but the right wheel will not turn left of right. but will turn round and round. It appear to be in the front wheel shoulder HUB housing, where the spindle located. Can anyone inform what could have cause this, just from sitting up over four weeks jacked up off the front wheels. How can I loosen the HUB, can I loosen the nut/bolt just below the large castle nut, to loosen the hub, or will I need to break down the whole HUB/remove castle nut/ beat out HUB spindle, to see what got the HUB locked? Ant advice will be helpful>>>>>>>
