Hi:

I had a 2305 for a little over a year now and have a 3320 that I've had for maybe 2 months. I think the crux of my problem is too high a seat height but let me ask folks.

On the 2305 (non e-Hydro) when going over rough ground it's easy to maintain a speed. The seat is non-suspended (Just rubber bumpers on the back) so that the distance from my leg to my foot remains constant.

on the 3320 the seat is suspended. It is a bit high for my preference (I'm 5'6) but I can live with it as long as I move the seat forward. Doing this I can place my heel on the platform and angle my foot for the E-Hydro.

The problem I have (Maybe the E-hydro is just sensitive or easy I guess) is that when I go over bumps and the seat bounces up and down on the spring my foot inevitibly moves on the pedal and I either speed up or slow down abruptly.

This doesn't happen on the 2305 at all so I'm left with some thoughts:
o Maybe the seat is too tall - I'll need to reduce the top height of the suspension maybe?.
o Maybe the e-hydro is much more sensitive than the mechanical hydro
o It happens less in A and B but a lot in C I guess that could just be
pedal sensitivity.

Does anyone else have this issue?

I've tried setting the spring to the firmest position to bounce as little as possible. This helps but it still happens. I'm 215 so even on full spring It still has quite a bit of suspension in it.

Yup. Me too. I didn't have any surging with the 855 but I really had to concentrate to keep the 3720 smooth, for the same reasons.

The thing to do is adjust the sensitivity of the eHydro unit. I think it defaults to coarse which means when you let off the pedal it stops fairly abruptly. You can loosen this up so that it coasts a bit. That will smooth out the throttle a lot.

Try moving the spring full the opposite direction, i.e. no spring. You should then sink all the way down when you sit on it. That should help the ride height part but you might find you want some of that spring back ;)

The solution (if lessening the spring does not do it) is cruise control. $86 gets you the auto cruise upgrade - adjustment switches on the right side and it will make her smooth as can be. I have this issue with my yard as well. Good luck.
