2 question about kubota l4610

I have two questions about my kubota l4610, 1 what type of fluid should I run in the transmission it is a gst tranny I got kubota udt but is kinda pricey, wondering if I can just run standard tractor transmission fluid.

Question 2 has anyone added a hydraulic center link to there tractor if so, what make and size did you use and what ends did you add to the cylinder.

I have a L4310 with GST tranny and use Super UDT. There are ton's of threads on here about which oil is better. In fact, for some people the argument is equivalent to Red Sox versus Yankee fans, serious stuff:laughing: In the end, given that you only change it every 500 hours, the cost difference is not all that great. There are some products on the market that meet Kubota UDT specs (very few, if any, that meet SUDT specs), but they are not all that much cheaper. What I notice most about SUDT is how great the machine works in cold weather. Not sure if that is an issue for you, or not.

Search for "hydraulic top link" or "top and tilt" threads on here. Lots of help and you will also run into a person whose name I cannot remember, that can set you up with exactly what you need. Several people on the forum have nothing but good things to say about him and someday I may remember his name.
