Further impressions. If you have not seen my previous thread, I bought a BX220 in May of 2000 and was finally looking to trade up.
Did virtually the whole deal on the phone and email. Said "let's go" on Thursday and the delivery man was here on Friday to drop off
the BX2360 and pick up the BX2200. After 12 years of the 2200, even with the few minor problems, didn't really consider anything
other than the Kubota. I figured if the new ones were as solid as the 2200, I would be happy. Never even saw the 2360 until it came
off the delivery truck. Because of rainy weather around here for the last few days, only got about 15 minutes of seat time, so far.
But I have taken all the covers off looking and I must say I am impressed with what I saw. Solid aluminum up front, reinforced hood
easy to remove cowling. Really nicely done. Great styling and lots of nice touches on the finish. I like the redesign of the mower attach points
and the larger operator platform. Solid sounding engine and mower when they are running.
Plus it has a big gold star that says " passed by Chief Inspector."
I wonder if he's related to Inspector 13 who checks your underwear?
Anyway, really impressed by the way Kubota has taken a good machine and made it even better.

OK, there's the proof. And if I'd have thought through it, I'd have realized it from your other thread that you were thinking about it.

So no loader on it... I'm just curious, other than brand loyalty, why spend that much money just to mow the yard? Do you have plans to use it for other stuff?

Just saying, have you ever priced a Kubota F model which is basically just for mowing? I currently have a used F2680E for sale for the cheapest price in America for $12,000 I would sell the F3080 for $16000 but not really pushing it. The F2680 is 2wd and the F3080 is 4wd.

Yeah, no loader, no backhoe. As I said in my other thread, the BIL has a backhoe for the big John Deere and a neighbor has FEL on his Mahindra and I didn't want to pay for duplication. I have almost 3 acres to mow now on a regular basis and almost 2 on an irregular basis, so the 60" mower is worth it to me. Plus working the garden with the 3-pt. disk and potato plow. Plus the rear grader blade for taking care of my and some of the neighbors' driveways. The BX2200 handled these so well, that I really didn't consider anything else when it came time to replace it.

I get it. The cost difference between a G and BX is so close, you might as well pay a little more and get a hard core tractor platform.
