1999 Polaris 500 Starter

All of a sudden I am having starter problems. I thought it was battery and bought new instead testing first. That was dumb. I can hear the solenoid clicking but no starter engaging. At first it only happened when it got cold out and you could hear the starter whiiir but no engage and that is why I thought battery.

This is the first thing I have ever had a problem with except bent bumper from hitting a tree. Don't ask..

Any suggestions on next test or a good parts place on line.

Are you sure the new battery is fully charged? Check for loose or corroded wires. Try jump starting it and see if it will start.

Will try the jump tomorrow but the battery voltage reads 12.70 vdc..
