1991 1520 barely moves

My dad has a 1991 1520 hydrostatic trans.. He was using it a couple weeks ago plowing snow and everthing was working fine. He shut it off for the night,next time he went to move it ,it wont move. He changed the filters thinking he had ice in the system. He can get it to move slightly, a few feet and the fel will barely move. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

does the loader share common rear hyds?

if so I'd start there with the sump. oil level, again check for ice. and then check flow from the hyds, then check pressure from the hyds.
