1989 Ford 3000 ?

Hey everybody, just a little question for ya'll. I'm looking at a Ford 3000 tractor and the fellow says it's a 1989 model. I didn't think Ford made a 3000 in 1989. I could be wrong,cause that's happened before, so my wife says anyway hahaha. But, did Ford make one during that year? It has the Ford 3000 decal to. Don't know if he's the original owner or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Kendall

1989 model 3000- I don't think so
from my information the 3000 was replaced in 1976 by the 3600 and it carried through to 1981
nice updates that were available were a factory cab or ROPS

In 1982 the 3600 was replaced by the 3610- which had a 192 cu inch in the diesel- up from the older 175 cu inch

In 1984-1989 the 3610 was replaced by the 3910....

Thanks a heap for the info dan, I wasn't 100% positive but, I didn't think they made one that year. I guess I won't be getting in touch with him again. Thanks again buddy.

glad to help- Nothing wrong with the newer Ford models that replaced the 3000, But if the sellers intent was to charge more money for a much older tractor well that's a different story...
