First time this happened it sent hydraulics oil into the motor. Took pump off and really at that time checked the shaft for wear and just replaced the seal.. The next day after replacing seal it didnt again when i was using the front loader. I took the pump off and again and the seal was more of a pressure problem cause it had had turned or flipped alittle over on one side.. I have took apart the convertor box and checked the pressure relieve valve and all seemed ok, did notice someone before had put in another two washers to up the pressure im sure.. BUt i have had the tractor for a few years.. I took apart the the part that sends it up to the power steering and it has a pressure relieve in it also. i cant say i found anything that i can see yes this is what the problem is.. does anyone know the answer to this.. anyone come across the same issure.. the pump is working fine cause i can raise and lower front bucket good and once i took it apart i replaced seals that was in it and it seems to be tight .. please if anyone knows i would appreciate a few minutes of your time as its firewood season,

Worn pump, internal leak that puts pressure on the seal and it pops out.

The gears in the pump feel tight. The first time i just changed out the seal with out opening the pump and it blowed seal again. This time i had the seals so as of now i have new seals inside pump now, havent.put it back togethor yet, maybe i shouldve done that the first time but i was afraid to open up pump but once i did this time it its pretty basic. Ill put everything back and try again, thanks

Bur it's good idea to measure the pressure on the system, this will tell you if you have problems. My guess will be at it is low.

You might check the shaft for a worn shaft where the seal can wear a grove in it and then new seals can not work.

Run your thumbnail along the shaft and feel for any groove or bur that might damage your seal.

I brought it into work as i work maintenance and couple guys looked it and try to feel it out and couldnt feel nothing. It actually was curled so to me it was a blo out . It was twisted in one spot instead of a seapage. If that made since..

This is correct. I warn people everytime I see this. Yes, you can just replace the seal but more than likely internal pump wear is the problem. When they immediately blow the second seal we replace the pump and never have another problem. Of course as it has been said it doesn't hurt to check the pressures but it is very unlikely they are excessive.

well i tried to reply by phone and doesnt seem like it worked but on desk top now. my first time i just took pump off and put in new shaft seal and it blowed oil back into motor again so i took the pump apart the second time which is where i am right now.. when i looked at the seal it was kinda flipped on side to me that would be a blown ,, i didnt put the seals in the pump the first time so i have done so this time and about to put everything back togethor,, by looking at the pump itself it looked really good and didnt seem very tight, so i replaced all seals internally and hope this time all will be ok.. can someone say or tell me which direction the seal goes in? one side the have little slots on top that you can see. But maybe the first time i shouldve replaced the seals internally but my buddy said he was afraid to open up pump so we just did the shaft seal which it soon blown that one the first time i used loader.. but all is about to go back together this time with new seals in pump.. Thank you but ill wait to here if anyone can tell me for sure which way the seal goes in.. thanks i sure appreciate all you guys help , means alot
