Thanks for the info. I believe if he can find a cartage filter, he will be good to go. He has one on order that has been on back order for a while now, I'm not sure where it's coming from though.

It's an Italian lathe. The style they have with the raised bed for the tail stock and raised head stock. It's great as the main ways are always protected and allows to swing large parts as well.

That's a good looking lathe. I have a Precision Matthews PM-1236T Taiwan lathe. I'll take a photo of it tomorrow.... later today I guess at this point.
