1979 JD 2040 3pt sway bar illustration

I am looking at buying sway bars for my 1979 JD 2040 (S/N 334***). I can find them online, but I cannot find how they actually attach to the lower arms of the 3 point hitch. If anyone can provide actual equipment pictures, illustrations, etc. I would be most appreciated.

Sorry but the bars you have shown a photo of are not "sway bars" but "height control bars" that limit the height of the 3 pt hitch bar. From factory JD 2040 utilized sway blocks that can be turned 90° for Cat l or Cat ll hitch pin widths.

Thanks guys I found it in an OM I borrowed. It has sway blocks that do not attach to the draft links like I thought.
