1974 cub cadet how much $

A friend of mine has a 1974 cub cadet International harvester, he has a mulberry plow, a front snow plow, a front snow blower, a grass mower, wheel weight, rear tiller, and some kind of a rake,

he is thinking of selling it How much should he ask

When I say it is is good shape, it has been in is garage for the last 10 years at least.

Model # would help, but in general he may find selling the pieces will yield a higher total price.

As a package $1500 maybe depending on model, but the tiller, plow and other pieces are sought after by CC guys. The mower and tractor alone should be $500-600 range I would think depending on the model.

Thank you, the complete package was sold for $1000.00 Canadian. All was mint the paint was still on the Plow, and snow blower.

The seller, as noted above, would have earned more $$$ selling tractor and then implements additional $$$.

it turns out the buyer changed his mind, but after reading your post, I bought it, my wife say's why do I need another tractor, I already have a 2010 bob cat CT 230 and a Massey Ferguson 1966 30 Hp 3 cl diesel. But like I said every thing is mint, the plow still has the beige and brown paint on it, the disk Harrow are still with brown paint, their is another rake it look like an accordion when it is put away, then you can stretch it and it has spike on it, what is it? their is even a dump trailer, a 4 feet tiller, a snow blower and a snow plow, one more question does the snow plow go in the front or the back? he did not remember.

Also where can I get a service manual, the forward-reverse lever does not stay in place you have to hold it, that is the only thing wrong with it.

The snow plow goes on the front, the land plow on the rear ..

Whats the model number and post some pictures - would help a lot.

It sounds like its a Hydrostatic drive, and there should be two large nuts on either side of the dash, these can be tightened/snugged up a bit to hold the lever in place.

Do, post pics and model info.

Thank you for your help I do not know How to Pics, but I would like to do this. the model is a 149.

I have a problem with the tractor, it turns out the PTO does not disengage, and all I can find in the post is about electric PTO, mine is mechanical. a big lever on the left hand side of the tractor pushes a pressure plate on the front PTO, not too sure how it works but I will take it apart today. I will post another thread and see if som one knows more about this.

So the 149 parts list is here Parts and Diagrams for Cub Cadet 149 showing the mechanical linkage for the PTO. There is adjustment on the threaded rod. You should check the clutch clearance "open" or disengaged then closed "engaged" and adjust the link accordingly. I dont know the exact clearance measurement since mine is an electric clutch.

I have had a CC129 HST and the adjustment for the Forward/Reverse Lever is a friction clamp below the dash on the HST lever shaft about halfway down. It is Item 16 on the parts diagram. CC129
