Anyone know what make diesel engine would be in a 1972 GMC C-50 truck?

More than likely a Detroit diesel..........probably a 4-53 or a 6V-53.................

Is it an inline-6 or "v" style block? Is it the origional motor? There should be a tag on the block somewhere.
