Price Check 1971 melroe M600 bobcat

I am looking to buy a 1971 melroe bobcat M600
It is not restored and has a cylinder seal leak some rust spots.
He is asking $2500 for it. Is that a reasonable price for the machine?

I bought a 610 of the same era for $3000 and sold $500 of parts that came with it, so same ball park. Mine is leaky and only runs at half choke, but other than that, it's fairly solid. Fresh paint, a few new engine parts, but bald tires. Bottom of the bucket was nearly useless, we cut and welded new on.
