- 1965 ford 5000 2000 new holland 1920 4wd, 1974 ford 5000, 1975 ford 9600, 1988 case Ih 885
We have installed a new hydraulic pump on a 65 ford 5000, it came with a new pressure relief valve and a new filter. The filter has been replaced that is attached to the lift cylinder. The o-rings have been replaced at pump(where it meets the case), the o-ring between the case and the top lid and all of the O-rings under the auxillary lid. Still no action in the three point lift. Took entire lid and turned it upside down. checked unload valves, "seem" to be working and moving without any problems. Removed cylinder from lid, blew air through various ports but found nothing obvious. The air, about 100 psi, blew out the lift cylinder, o ring on it looked slight worn but obviously not worn enough to keep it from being blown out by the air pressure. We have ordered new O-rings for the lift cylinder various ports. Does anyone have any ideas? Were hoping will just stumble on the issue and it will be fixed. Not optimistic about that, hasn't worked yet.
