1963 case 530ck front axle repair

hello been awhile for me. I am rebuilding my spindles on the front of my 530ck I can't make heads or tails of the thrust washer installation. does the concave side go toward the thrust bearing or away from it?? My manual shows the order but no info on which way is correct. Thanks for any help,Greg
