I have a taste for hot rod and rat rod `s but in my opinion this is just wrong on so many levels to destroy a IH this way.

It looks like they only used the top 3/4 of the cab and the hood. I'll bet the rest was rusted out.

I thought about contacting them to see what he thinks this abomination is worth.

I made a volkswagon beatle into a truck- but did it learning to mig weld. Old body men told me the same thing- to much time on my hands. This taking the cab top half solves all the frame no frame problems. No bed so Ohio would not call it a truck. Man this would really have the salvage title guys working overtime. Ticket everytime the law saw you as they know you probably could not get insurance on it.

We have a couple old Impalas (a '59 and a '60) and belong to a car club, so we go to a lot of car shows and hang around with car folks, but to see a fully restored International truck at a show or parade, is pretty rare. I'm told that parts are expensive and hard to get, so that probably has something to do with it, but there seems to be little nostalgia associated with the old "binders" as we used to call them. I have seen a few, over the years, dressed out as service trucks or with a company logo, and they always get attention.

The sample in the ad is an abomination. I wouldn't own it long enough to tow it to the salvage yard.
