I am excited to make my first post on this forum. I purchased a Ford 1920 about a year ago as my first tractor. I am loving this machine!
The tractor has several problems after a year of hard use brush hogging and skidding logs and I am looking forward to posting repair pictures as well as getting help when I get stuck. I have both the operator and shop repair manuals, but the repair manual can gloss over technique items.
SO... my first issue I would like to ask about is the rear lift. When I lift the brush hog it seems to bounce up and down maybe 2-3 inches and cycles every couple of seconds. I would appreciate some help diagnosing this problem. I have tried adjusting the lift rate knob under the seat but the bouncing persists at all rate settings.
