Couldn't get over my old BX25. Miss it so much that I stopped by Barlows today and bought another one.
None on the lot but Steve Barlow called last week to factory provided info that Barlows shipment is on the way. Should be in any day.
Had to get a boxblade in order to spend $500 which reduced price or impacts 0% for 60mo????? I don't know exactly but Landpride BB at $500 is at or below Barlows cost. Could get 3h arms for $200 then something else for $300.
My insurance provider equipment marine rider about same as Kubota ins but Kubota ins better and can add to contract with the 0%.
Traded/sold to Barlows my B2620 FEL BH 73 one owner hours with 50 hours service done by me. Garage kept except for 73 hours. Steve agreed to sell it for $18000, a number I asked if he would sell it for if I told a friend about it. I'd say first come first serve. I have it till my BX25 arrives. It's dirty, my trade ins always are.

LOL. It's about time! We all knew it was coming I just can't figure out why you waited so long. Life is too short not to have what you want if it's within your means. Good for you and congrats on the new tractor.

Had went to make this trade a couple of months ago and we (Steve Barlow) couldn't arrive at an acceptable number (John) to make the deal.
The number on the BX25 is pretty well fixed but the number on the B2620 FEL BH was the sticker/obstacle. The new smog "stuff" helped me make the deal this time since my low hours like new B2620 FEL BH was made before and worth more money now or he gave me a lot, yes, a lot more money for it this time. I also want the equity out of it to buy a fun car, like an MR2 or something like it that I can get in and out of without having to lay down.:D
The B2620 FEL BH at $18,000 is a real deal for someone wanting one, plus Barlows delivery program and they don't charge Ky sales tax for out of state delivery and Steve likes trades. I just like the subcompact, smaller, less power one:) but don't ever tell those "more power, Tim the Toolman" guys what I just said/did. Bigger ain't better, (to me) it's just bigger.
Used to buy a new car/truck years ago when I needed money, can still do the same with tractors and usually at a much better savings than with cars/trucks. Tractors don't drop in price like cars/trucks so a good clean maintained tractor is like money in the bank.

Hello; my name is John Thomas, and I have a problem...

Really need to get to rehab JT. :)

Seriously, congrats, and have fun. You've always said that was your favorite tractor.

I'm actually a retired Rehab Counselor that still does Family and Marriage Counseling, may have to add Buying Addictions Group and go back and forth from my chair to couch as the group proceeds.:D
Of the Kubotas I've owned the BX25 is my all around favorite for my home hillside 5 acres landscaping and flat rental 6 septic tanks 5 acres. Now that's after many years working on my hillside with the most used Kubota being a B7800 FEL which I used for 3 years till I started trading more often with BX backups for mowing till I started buying Kubota Fs for mowing.
My bottom line is Fs for mowing and BX25 for tractoring and RTV1140 for assisting tractoring and fun with the Grands. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:cool2::D:drink:

Congratulations John, I'm glad you were able to make the deal.

Thanks TripleR. I still get a bit excited anticipating the arrival of a new Kubota. I'll deliver my trade in B2620 and pick up the BX25 when it arrives and is final assembled so no pics of new tractor coming up drive way with Marvin or Steve driving it.:D

Like others have stated we are not getting any younger. One reason I bought my L45 is I did not want to wait too long and have trouble climbing on it. We should have had a pool on how long you would hold out.
