1710 hood repaint-changed a little ?????

Hey Yall, pulled hood to replace water pump-FEL leave's no room to work on frt, since I had to wait for water pump O-ring (was left out of pump shipment).
figured I'd get some sanding and bondo work on nose of hood dent and re-paint it, if you look at my avatar pic it show's the original strip's (decal) I alway's hated the 2 diff color blue's, so I did it my way, have a little touch up on letter's & number's when it's warmer, hope I get a 50/50 rating ???

Thank's Richard, well I painted the whole hood w/bondo work in garage, just did white letter's & #'s in laundry room, worst part was getting the 30yr old decals DA'd off.

Sorry. I am partial to the original style. Maybe it is one of those things that would have to grow on you as I used to looking at it the old way.
