90.2 inches for cab, 103.1 for platform to top of ROPS. Been looking at a 1648/1652 for some time myself.

Big difference in prices between the machines! I'm talking THOUSANDS.
Unless of coarse you are able to pay cash for the Massey. Massey has some really good cash in lieu of financing right now!

Thanks guys I have purchased a MF 1652 HST with cab and DL130 loader.
Haven't had time to use it and get used to it, but it seems nice. Little differences from the Deere. Some good and some not so sure.
I'm own a 2001 JD 4400 HST and 430 loader with 600 hours on it.
To be for sale in spring...Maybe. LOL

What are your first impressions, curious about what your initial likes and dislikes are. I had a chance to drive a cab 1652 with R1s at a dealer near Ottawa Ontario a few weeks back. It had plenty of power, seemed to have good balance and the SS transmission was a step up from my 135, which has never let me down. Then again just having power steering was a huge leap.

Mike,
Things that are different from the Deere. Hydraulics seem stronger-more flow than the Deere.
Grill guard is only 1/4 vs JD guard which is full grill. MF= no dust caps for loader hoses when it is removed.
The holder for the top link arm. looks like something I used to dip Easter eggs in the dye when I was a kid. JD is heavier. All the tractors seem to be cheapened up in some ways. My big concern is Iseki engine Vs Yanmar engine in Deere. Hydrostatic seems a little noisy but it's brand new. On the hydrostatic models MF has a linkage cable attached to the forward & reverse hydro pedals. It ties directly into the throttle. As u push pedal down the throttle is increased which is great for loader work. But...If you want to just cruise around at half throttle you would have to disconnect the cable. Pretty simple, just a clevis to unhook.
I will post more about it as I get a chance to really work it. The Deere I'm comparing it to is a 4400 hydro with 430 loader.

Thanks for the reply, look forward to your perspective on how it's working for you.

I would not worry about the Iseki. They have been building diesels a LONG time, not new by any means.

Will,
Just wondering how many hours you have. Any complaints?
:)

No complaints at all. Starts light years better than our 1523 did in the cold. All cast iron construction, tons of hydraulic flow, nice cab, heater and ac work excellent.

Only had one warranty issue, which was fixed no problem, the brake arm seal started to SLOWLY leak, but was covered under warranty. 240 Hours on it now, would buy another in a heart beat. Ours is 12x12 Power shuttle.

Hope this helps.
