Hello,
I'm in the market to upgrade my JD 3320. I need a larger tractor as well as a cab.
To me the JD 4720 is physically a tad too small and doesn't have the lift capacity i'd like. The 5225 is much larger, powerful enough for me but a tad physically large. I don't know much about MF but I drove to the local dealer and chatted about my options. It seems the 1560 would be right in between the two mentioned JD and would be just the right size. Any feedback about the 1500 series would be appreciated. Any comments or view points about comparison the Deers would be great.
I have a 40 peach farm (I'm not farming it myself) but will convert part of it to a horse farm (5-7 horses). I do have a very long access road to plow and snow blow in winter (hence the desire for a cab). I also have a small forest I'm clearing and thus need the lift capacity to mover the large tree trunks from the forest to where I split them.
I'm pulling a 6 ft rotary cutter for a couple of fields and will need a similar sized rear finishing mower.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers from the Niagara region.
