i would have bought it the way you did but, i can't spend my sweet potato money , i was thinking about buying a used 2001 tc40 with 700 hr., but the guy had no maintenance records what so ever.1533 was the biggest the dealer had or the 2615 ( made in india )the dealer isn't happy with the 2600 series , imo japan has the best quality tractors . 0% is hard to pass or a free loader it 's a tough choice , just norrowing it down to RED took over a year .1540 is a good tractor too,a getting a good deal is even better.

i felt like it was too good a deal to pass up, took me a while of shoping to decide on red as well, but when i finally went threw a brunch, Price-quality-features-value, red really did, have it all in what i was looking for.
