Comparison 1533 v 1540 v 1635 v 1643

Alrighty, so with the budget I'm working with I figure a good middle ground is the 1635, enough power for the bushhog and pulling out brush/sapplings. $31900 for the lot with cab.

Man I wish the wold migrate the rest of the 1500 to the 1600 platform, the 1635 is a tad too big frame size for what I would like....I need a 1631 or something:confused2:

I can understand too large, most of what I have is tight on an atv let alone a tractor thats 2' wider

Would you be surprised if I,dtell you that my MF 1643 turns in a smaller radius than my atv , a Foreman 400 Unbelievable but true.

i don't think they are concerned with turning radius. I too understand fitting the tractor size to operator needs. Just as you can buy a tractor too small, you can also buy a tractor too big.

I went from a Kubota B2910 to a L4400. It was quite an adjustment. Now that I'm used to it I get by and wouldn't want to go back to the size of the B2910. I do a lot of timber work on ATV and Jeep trails. Sometimes I just gotta back up and take another line to get around an obstacle that the 2910 would have handled easily because of it's smaller size.

I don't have a stocked MF Dealer close to me to get an idea of chassis size in their tractors. That's why I asked about the difference in chassis size between the models discussed here.
