135 thermostat

Just bought a 135 orchard, was playing around with it and she's overheating. Going to check a few things but my question, looks like to check the thermostat I'll have to pull the fuel tank, or am I missing something?

You've probably finished changing out your T-stat by now. I've got a somewhat similar tractor and replaced the T-stat last fall by releasing the two bolts on the front of the tank (which was nearly full) and supported it with some lumber pieces. It wasn't easy but it can be done.

Actually I haven't, turns out step number one was finding out it was almost out of coolant (which brings up other concerns). Filled it up and ran if for a while and did fine, suggesting the thermostat was fine. Good to know though, thank you.
