Tires 13.6-16 R4s anyone ?

In my search for truth, justice, the American way and R4 tires for my 790, I ran across a Chinese manufacturer that is interested in making 13.6-16 R4 tires. It's not that there aren't R4s for the 790, but the JD specified 15-19.5 R4s don't leave room room for my belly mower. Esthetically, the smaller 12.4-16 R4s make my 790 look like a big riding mower. 28.50-14 R4/13.6-16 R4 would, of course, match the JD specification for 790 front/rear turf tires. Right now, I'm just testing the waters. If there isn't enough interest for a large number of tires, it wouldn't be worth the manufacturer's time.

The question is, where are you going to find rims to mount the tires on. You can't mount them on the same rims as the 15-19.5's are on.

There is a thread about mounting R4 tires to a 770. The front tires are still available, the rears are getting hard to find, but they will mount to 770/790 turf wheels.
