I'm looking to add a temporary pump with nozzle assembly to my diesel tank in the bed of my truck. It has a normal 2 inch or larger locking cap on the fill with the large threads, nothing unique.
Is there an adaptor to mate the 2?
Here is the item I am considering, I also sent email to the Tech department
Surplus Center - 8 GPM 12 VDC EZ-8 FUEL PUMP
It had a 2" NPT (female?) threads.
My preference would be to remove the cap, load/screw the pump, plug in and fuel, then remove and be able to bleed the unused fuel in the hose back into the tank.
