My Cub is a different model than yours but what I would find happen is that a bracket which locates the hydro pedals would crack and bend out of position and then the pedals could not effect full movement of the rods going to the transmission. Tractor would get very slow.
Look under the floor boards in the area of the pedals and see if everything is secure.
