Price Check 10A Backhoe Price and Mounting

Looking at a 10A to mount on an '81 2240. The backhoe came off a 5510. What will it take to mount it to my tractor? I went to JD parts and not much info there. It lists the same mounts for 2155 (2240) and the old 1050-1650 range for the 10A, but no 5000 series. Is 4,000 a good price? Looks like new and has been used very little.

I think the 49 hoe is the newer version of the 10A. About 8-10,000 for a 49 new. MSRP 10,394 with brackets for the 5000 series. I'd say if it looks like new and works good it is a good buy.

As far as mounting it to your tractor, I don't know. I bet Deere has the brackets. $$

I have been looking for a Bradco Hoe all I have seen are set up to mount on a skidsteer. Would take about $600 for the tractor and $800 for the hoe $1,500 in brackets to convert to a tractor subframe mount. That was for a Bradco 611 hoe.
