We have a small tractor it ran out of fuel and we bleed out system and tractor has a miss on 1 cylinder. I figured it was an injector so we pulled all and had rebuilt. Also checked compression and it was 300 plus so we installed all injectors back in tractor after having them rebuilt and tractor still has a miss on same cylinder. Has anybody had this same problem or ideas please help thanks

Check by cracking the lines once it runs if you get fuel to the injector. If not its time to take the injector pump apart.

We put the rebuilt pump on tractor and bleed out system . Started up tractor and now it runs at a higher Rpm and will not shut down with shut down lever. The only way it will shut down is when I break the injector lines . Since this tractor was getting diesel in oil which we changed it acts like the govoner is causing problem , after it runs for a while it's smoking and starts idling faster . Just wondering could the govoner be causing this problem ?

Are you sure the linkage was connected properly when the pump was reinstalled? Does the engine speed change at all when the throttle lever is moved? Was the timing checked when the pump was reinstalled? The gasket/shims are available in different thicknesses to change timing. Usually when installing the same pump on the same engine, the same thickness shim needs to be used. I attached pictur of proper linkage hookup on items 11, 12, 13.

The linkage is hooked up just like picture and also timing was checked and ok, when you start it up it idles good until you throttle it up with lever and then after running for a while you push lever back to idle down and it keeps running fast and will not even shut down when lever is put in shut down it just keeps running fast and I have had to break injector line to shut it down
