1025 R. Broken on first day!

Just got my 2014 1025r today and after trying the loader, I took it off ( very easy even first time) and started mowing. It's a new property and about 15 min in I hit a low hidden stump. I shut it down and backed off blades look fine and everything appears ok. But when I engage the PTO the belt smokes bad. I shut it down and removed the deck, the middle pulley is letting the belt touch the deck, causing the smoke. Of course the dealer closed at noon, so my long day of mowing came to a halt. Anyone know what I broke? I figure there must have been some kind of a key that kept the pulley from moving all the way to the deck, but I'm not sure.

Here is a picture of your deck. My guess is that if the center pulley is letting the belt touch the deck, you have either bent the spindle pretty good, or the deck recess where it mounts is bent, and it's probably the latter. You probably caught that spindle when you hit the stump and bent the spindle pocket on the deck. How fast were you going? It takes a good whack generally to do that.
