1000 hours on my BX1800

Today the meter showed 1000 hours! It is a 2001 BX 1800 bought new in 2001 with loader (la211) and 54" mid mower. Most hours have been from mowing 3 acres over the years, but has done some amazing rock landscapes in its time. No doubt is the most useful fun tool in the shed.

Engine/hst has never missed a beat. Regular maintenance is all I have done to keep it running. All broken parts were owner operator error: tail lights, loader blown hydraulic line caused by nephew messn around with bucket forks. Mid mower is still on original belt. Super durable deck.

I give the BX 5 stars. Love my baby bota.

Congrat's on achieving your milestone hours. Good to hear stories of relatively high hour owners with nothing negative to report. Just bought all the supplies to do my 400 hour service. My BX25 is just over three years old and I don't mow with it very often (have a dedicated mower for that). Hope I make out as well as you have.

I wouldn't consider 1000 hours to be high time, your machine has a long way to go.

i have a bx 1830 2005 got 500 hr on it use it for blowing snow run like new but start to leak oil at the front hub change the seals once and will have to fix that again

I have one that year with just under 600 hrs. I really enjoy using it. I also own a L3010 with a 6' finish mower and it seems like I can get around trees along my drive faster with the BX 1800.
