Thanks to whoever posted about filling the mower spindles with grease on the Kubota RCK60-24B MMM. It took 100 strokes on the grease gun to get grease to ooze out of the above-blade witness hole of the Left spindle. Center and Right spindles were happy with about 20 strokes.

I didn't know about those witness holes and thought I was good if I gave each spindle 6 to 8 strokes each time I mowed. Apparently the dealer didn't know about them either. Ran the whole first season without enough grease :(

It made a difference. The mower runs noticeably quieter now. Hope I don't lose spindle bearings down the road because of this.

Great post! I've never seen grease come from anywhere. I usually use 5-6 pumps of grease every 2-3 mowings (or whenever I'm greasing things up).
I have my deck off right now and I'll get a tube or two of grease extra and do the deed this weekend.

I had some noisy spindles on a previous mower, I went and bought a drill bit and some grease fittings and installed them and run mower.. Definitely quieter. A short while after that another member posted that the bearings in the spindles were sealed bearings and the grease would do no good but waste grease? I now have a new mower and I will do it to this one also, sealed or not, it did get quieter, go figure
:)

Here's the pumping info on my deck. Left spindle took 80 to pop goes the grease, the middle spindle took less than 10 and the right spindle took 25.

I then mowed (after battle with some field mice that decided my tractor was a great place to build a next, again!) and found that I noticed nothing. Maybe not as loud but nothing that I could really notice.

Oh, it's 560 hours on the B7500 and she's a jewel. My one complaint is how it sucks the air but it too is human and has to breath..huh?
