I would imagine that would be a good fix and I have thought about doing it myself. However, Kioti says they are working on a properly engineered fix and as my loader is (or was) still on warranty when I reported it to my dealer, I figured I'd wait to see what they come up with. Last thing I want to do right now is attempt a repair myself that voids the warranty.

I agree. My brush hog was several years out of warranty after it cracked, but still low hours, so I can understand how you folks feel. Get it factory repaired if at all possible.
