01 MF 1165 or 00 Agco ST45, are these identical??

i am having a hard time finding any specs on the MF 1165. i am considering purchasing a used rental return, approx 500hrs, powershuttle, MF232 FEL, used by couple of renters, asking $16900.

is it Iseki?? one site said Isuzu
is it a discontinued model? if so what would be the new model replacement??
any opinion?? any problems??

the dealer also has a used Agco ST45 rental return for sale.
is this identical to the MF 1165?? they seem to have similar HP ratings. this one has Hydro with approx 350 hrs, SL48 FEL, used by a lot of renters, asking $19900.

all things being equal any opinions on which one??

The MF 1165 and the AGCO ST45 are both made by Iseki. Some of the very early Iseki's had Isuzu motors, but that was before MF started selling them. The MF 1100 and MF 1200 series have both been replaced by the MF 1400 series. The AGCO are also the same as the 1400 series Massey.

I have a JD 4400 and my neighbor has a new Massey 29 HP( I forget the model number) I must say I was impressed with the Massey,it had some features I wish my JD had. It looked like a fine machine for a lot less money.

Cant help you with the tractor, but I have thge MF232 loader on my MF1040 32hp 4x4 and it works out quite well. Pretty easy to take on and off. I have the 6ft bucket on mine.

Not I haven't heard anything bad about them. The only problem that I have heard about was a MF 1140 with a broken side frame don't know all the history about that tractor, so who is to say what had happened to it that may have caused the break.
