Does anyone have any insight on whether or not Bobcat will continue the 0% financing rate for 72 months? Their web site says it ends today.

Dealer seemed to think it was going to die today. I bought one earlier today for that reason. Could be just blowing smoke to make me hurry up though.:)

It has been anounced today. 0 for 72 months is still in effect, in lieu of financing you can take a cash rebate ( $ vary with models), or a free snow blower, or a free loader (if machine has been in dealer inventory at least 1 year).

Thanks. Where are you finding this information? I have been checking the web site and do not see it there.

Sounds good to me. Guess I'll have to give my dealer a call tomorrow. I was hoping they would start the free loader program again. Thanks for the insight. Apparently bobcat is a little slow with their web site. Thanks again...

OK, someone let me know if this has happened to anyone else.
I finished the deal for my CT335 and attachments on August 31. Everything was signed at the start of September and the tractor was delivered.
Finance company contacted me that they couldn't finance me the entire amount because I was a non-corporate purchaser. Wanted me to pay all the taxes (in Manitoba, Canada that is 12%) and they would finance the rest at 0%.
I contacted the dealer and he is now talking to the finance company for me trying to figure something out.
So, yes I am a private (non-business) purchaser. Canada might have different rules than in the U.S. Any info anyone can give me? Any Bobcat Dealers heard about this happening? Thanks for any details.

I just received my CT230 a couple of days ago and used the 0% and have not heard from anyone about having to pay the taxes seperate.

Rolandman,

Seems like the dealer may be caught in the middle here since he delivered the tractor and now your holding the tractor and the financing company may be holding back part of the payment to him/Bobcat. It would be interesting to hear how this turns out.

It seems like the obligation would have been on your dealer to understand how the financing that he was offering you worked, and to prepare the paperwork properly. Your acceptance of delivery on the tractor was based on the terms you were presented at the time of sale. If he agreed to pay your taxes with financed money in the contract and now he is not, he may be considered to be breaching the sales agreement.

He should be the one in the hot seat on this, not you. I'd push back firmly and make them sweat. I wouldn't want to hang the guy for a mistake, but I would sure expect them to pony up a little and share the pain if a mistake was made.

After I recieved a new loan agreement with lower payments reflecting both party's contributions, then I would be willing to write a check for the taxes.

Well after a couple different forms to fill out and numerous phone calls, emails, and texts the 0% for 72 months rate was applied to my ENTIRE purchase.

The dealer was very helpful and was willing to spend time on making sure the deal went through just as we had discussed earlier. So, a couple things to keep in mind: Select your dealer wisely, keep track of any information that you discuss, and stay calm until all the paperwork is complete (this is not always easy but worked out in this case!). Even the professionals (ie: bankers) can prepare paperwork a number of different ways - massage the numbers.

From all the information I have read and discussed, the 0% for 72 months should apply for everyone with no difference between private or business customers.

Oh, and the CT335 is still a fun tractor to work with!

My CT335 is being delivered tomorrow. Along with a 6' cutter.
