Woodland Mills WC88 chipper flywheel issue

I've had a WC88 for about six years now, working it probably 100 hours per year, on olive tree prunings mostly. Typical max size around 80mm or so diameter. Recently it started making "noises" which turned out to be the flywheel hitting the inside housing of the chipper under the outlet shute...

    Chipper  Woodland Mills adjustment

Had the opportunity to use the chipper over the last couple of days. I took the advice from another post and loosened the springs on the feed roller. What a difference on feeding larger branches. Those things are way too tight as delivered from the factory.

    Woodland Mills WC68 Chipper

I currently have an Agriease 4" gravity feed chipper which is a Chinese knock off of the Wallenstein. I've had it for around 10 years and it has chipped a lot of small stuff, which is all I chip. Normally nothing bigger than 2" to 3" but mostly green tree branches and green tree tops. It works...

Woodland Mills WC88 vs WoodMaxx MX-8800 vs WoodMaxx WM-8H for 60HP Kioti DK6010SE

I'm looking to buy a PTO chipper. Originally, I was looking at the Woodland Mills WC68 but that was when I was getting a 40HP tractor. Now that I am getting a 60(57.7) HP tractor with 44.9 HP at the PTO I am looking to size up. The thinking is that the WC68 is rated up to 50 HP at the PTO which...

chipper: heavier, 1000rpm flywheel better for smaller tractor? WC68, WM-8h, WC88

Buying a PTO chipper. My rig is on the smaller end of viability with 21.7 pto hp. PTO lift is 1600lbs@2ft aft (also FEL + beet juice in all 4 wheels). My use case is primarily conifer (eg, soft), and mostly small (anything ~4" or larger becomes "firepit" firewood). The large input capacity...

    Woodland mills stump grinder

The instructions say with a gear transmission these stump grinders are more difficult to use. Has anyone used this type of grinder with a gear transmissions? Is it that difficult to ease the tractor through the stump? Is there a trick to it?
