turning

I inherited a Farmall super A, it's been sitting a few years, I know battery is dead. Connected a good battery by booster cables, barely turns over twice and stops. Took starter off connected directly to battery, gear pops out and spins. Stuck screwdriver in starter hole and made sure flywheel...

So I have a B2601 tractor, I need a box blade for it. They are frikn $$$$ for a 5 ft blade, so I have a 7ft or 8ft almost new box blade. I have tried to sell it but no luck, most people don't have a big enough tractor for it. It is paid for, so I am thinking about cutting it down and rebuilding...

I have a 4530 4wd T2. Today when I tried using the tractor, the box blade wouldn't lift. When turning off the ignition the blade immediately raised about 3 inches. In order to get it fully raised, I had to turn the tractor on and off. It lowers fine and all other hydraulic functions work...

I have a JD 5055e. I know it's not good to turn sharp in 4WD in vehicles. Is this also true with tractors or should I not be worried about it? TIA
